Been Awhile

So, I have neglected this blog for awhile. *Sorry*

I was out of town from Christmas until now. Where I was (elsewhere in upstate) I encountered a white Christmas with limited snow that melted before lunchtime. I understood it snowed a bit on Wednesday while I was gone, but that it was nothing substantial. Any snow that did fall that day has since melted. Although it looks cold at times next week (high of 12 with snow on Tuesday!), nothing substantial seems to be on the horizon. I will keep you all posted.

No Snow Since Sunday

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday have come and gone with no snow. It has been cold in the mornings, but temperatures have been getting up into the high 40s and low 50s at time. There will be breaks of sun followed by heavy winds and rain. Still better than having snow slow me down, I think. There may be a white Christmas though and snow is in the forecast for Friday.

Tomorrow is the first day of Winter and still no snow...

Snow!

So, there was snow last night. This snow actually stuck to the road. No affect on my driving, although it did make driving through streets lined with Christmas lights that much cooler.

Snow! Sort of...

So there was a little bit of snow last night. A little bit stuck on our residential road and some stuck to the ground. Not enough to effect us and not enough to hide the grass. It is now 27 and partly sunny. It almost seems like the snow is already melting but we are only supposed to get up to 32 today.

I don't have to go to work today, but this obviously would not affect my commute anyway.

Still No Snow

Another December day in Rochester, another day without snow. The temperatures dropped did drop about 10 degrees over night though. We also had quite the windy and raining night.

Tomorrow, though... looks like we will get a mild dusting.

Another Winter Day, Another 40+ Day

It is almost 50 right now and raining. Sure doesn't feel like winter. Soonest there may be snow again is Saturday it appears.

It is dark, though, as I go to work.
